Federal grants would expand gender-affirming care training

What does this do?

This bill would create federal grants for medical schools, nursing programs, and community health centers to train doctors and other clinicians in gender-affirming care. A separate set of grants would support rural providers by funding networks where experienced clinicians share knowledge with providers in less-populated areas. The Department of Health and Human Services would be required to report to Congress on the results within two years.
