Bill expands free vaccines to CHIP kids and raises doctor pay rates

What does this do?

HR 8425 expands the Vaccines for Children program to cover children enrolled in CHIP, which currently serves families who earn too much for Medicaid but cannot afford private insurance. The bill raises the minimum payment doctors and clinics receive for administering vaccines and counseling under Medicaid and CHIP to match what Medicare pays for those same services, through at least the end of 2028.
